The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

The Prediction Machine

ATS Lock of the Week: Kentucky -14 over Vanderbilt (Covers 60.8%)
With the injuries piling up for Vanderbilt and Kentucky seemingly getting healthier, I wouldn't expect this line to stay this low for very long, so jump on it early if you can.

The Commodores are coming off an embarrassing, 55-14 loss at home to Florida. Adding injury to insult, Vanderbilt may have also lost as many as six starters in the process, including over half of its rushing output so far on the season and half of its starting defensive line. On the other hand, Kentucky should be welcoming back star running back Derrick Locke, who has missed the last four games, as well as up to five other starters who had been hurt and used the week against Charleston Southern last week as a way to get healthy.

Even at 100% health, Kentucky is a significantly better team than Vanderbilt, especially at home. With the mounting injuries to the Commodores and a likely bown berth on the line for Kentucky, expect the Wildcats to destroy the SEC's worst team this week.

According to 50,000 games played by the Predictalator, Kentucky wins outright 81.5% of the time and by an average score of 36.8 - 18.6. The Wildcats cover a two touchdown spread at home 60.8% of the time, which is a strong play that would warrant an $88 play from a normal $50 player. The 54-point total is appropriate and not playable.

Other ATS Paul's Pick: Florida -3 over South Carolina (Covers 60.8%)
After a few weeks of struggling with top picks on the road in non-marquee/non-BCS games, while doing much better with nationally relevant games with notable teams, it's somewhat comforting to see that the Predictalator really likes home teams in BCS conferences to cover. Those are fairly split between favorites and underdogs, with our top two overall picks loving rising SEC home favorites to cover over falling road dogs.

If you have been following along this season (online or on-air), you know that we have not been high on South Carolina. Kentucky was one of our strongest plays of the week to cover over the Gamecocks when the Wildcats won in Lexington a month ago and we were predicting an Arkansas win straight-up last week. South Carolina may have a decent aerial attack, but is flawed elsewhere. Despite what we are led to believe about Marcus Lattimore and company, the Gamecocks only rank 70th nationally in rushing efficiency. South Carolina is also 102nd in the country against the pass and 88th in turnover margin. That sets up for a bad matchup with the Gators on the road.

Florida has one of the nation's best secondaries and also just-so-happens to thrive on big plays in the passing game and through forcing turnovers and converting those into points. The Gators rank 13th in the country against the pass and 19th in the turnover margin. Florida does only rank 79th in passing offense, but has clearly been improving lately as John Brantley gets comfortable in the offense as the starting quarterback.

According to 50,000 games played by the Predictalator, Florida wins outright 66.1% of the time and by an average score of 25.5 - 17.6. The Gators cover the three-point spread at home 60.8% of the time, which, as above, would warrant an $88 play from a normal $50 player. With neither team putting up big numbers, we like the UNDER 44.5 as a weak, but playable play.

Other ATS Paul's Pick: Georgia Tech +3 over Miami (FL) (Covers 60.4%)
In the duel of backup quarterbacks, the team whose system is less reliant on the pass has the advantage - ultimately pulling the upset at home. Since Jacory Harris went down for Miami early against Virginia, the Hurricanes have struggled on offense Stephen Morris and Spencer Whipple at quarterback and failed to cover the spread, losing that game on the road and barely winning at home against Maryland last week. Not only will Miami be without Harris, but the Hurricanes will also likely be without leading rusher Damien Berry on Saturday. For Georgia Tech, when Joshua Nesbitt went down against Virginia Tech, the offense did not seem to change much with Tevin Washington at QB, as the Yellow Jackets kept the game close throughout - much closer than the 13.5 point line. Those aren't very big sample sizes by which we can measure these teams, but that says enough about the difference in these offenses to lead us to our conclusion.

Defensively, these teams are essentially a wash. Miami is a great team against the pass, but only about average against the run. Georgia Tech doesn't pass. Georgia Tech is great against the run, but a little below average against the pass. Especially without Berry, Miami relies more on the pass than the run. Neither of these teams really excels with turnover margin.

Georgia Tech has the healthier and more potent offense and homefield advantage. Don't be surprised by a Yellow Jackets win. In fact, with other home underdogs UNC vs. Virginia Tech and Virginia vs. Maryland, don't be surprised to be several upsets in the ACC this week.

According to 50,000 games played by the Predictalator, Georgia Tech, a three-point underdog, wins straight-up 55.2% of the time and by an average score of 25.3 - 22.6. The Yellow Jackets cover the spread 60.4% of the time, which would warrant an $84 play from a normal $50 player. With banged-up offenses and a 50-point total line, look for the UNDER, which comes in a weak, but playable 54.3% of the time.
